Auditions
Singers interested in performing with Seraphic Fire should possess ample solo and ensemble experience, excellent sight-reading skills, familiarity with Baroque and Renaissance vocal style, and a desire to sing at the highest level of vocal ensemble performance.
Seraphic Fire performs with 12 to 16 singers per concert. Accepted singers will receive concert fees, a food stipend, plus travel expenses and lodging.
Interested singers should submit the following:
- A current resume or curriculum vitae
- One photo or headshot
- Two references including phone numbers and email addresses
As well as, a CD or MP3s including the following:
- Two solo vocal works in contrasting styles and languages, one of which should be a Baroque aria.
- Scales and arpeggios demonstrating range and vocal agility.
Note: Audition materials should be labeled with the musician’s name and voice part.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as they are received.
