Health and Safety Policies

Updated: Friday, April 22, 2022
(policies updated weekly)

As we embark upon our final program of our 2021-22 Season, our priority remains the safety and comfort of our guests, artists, staff, and volunteers. As CDC guidance and local mandates have recently relaxed, we have updated the requirements for our patrons. Our updated health and safety policies for our upcoming concerts are below.

Seraphic Fire will no longer require a negative COVID-19 PCR test or proof of vaccination from patrons entering our concert venues. Masks are no longer required, however Seraphic Fire continue to encourage mask wearing while inside our venues. Additionally, we continue our flexible ticketing policies to allow for any last minute changes you need to make.

We highly value the comfort and satisfaction of our patrons and would be happy to speak to you directly if you have questions, concerns, or require additional accommodations.

We highly value the comfort and satisfaction of our patrons and would be happy to speak to you directly if you have questions, concerns, or require additional accommodations. For the most up-to-date Health and Safety Policies, please check this page on our website. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we continue navigating the unknown and thoughtfully take our next steps towards normalcy.

In addition to the finest choral music performances in South Florida, here are a few things to expect when attending our concerts this season:

For our audience members and volunteers:

  • Masks will be encouraged while indoors. We will have extras on hand in case you arrive without one.
  • Digital versions of the magazine and program book available via scan.
  • At least 2 rows of separation between the stage and the first row of audience seating for social distancing.
  • Multiple points of entry to and exit from the venue.
  • Flexible ticket policies – We want everyone to enjoy the Seraphic Fire concert experience to their fullest. If you feel you won’t be able to enjoy a performance due to health concerns, we will be happy to exchange your tickets for a performance later in the season. If you decide you are unable or uncomfortable attending our concerts this season for any reason, we will work with you to find a solution that best suits your needs, including:
    1. Transferring tickets or subscriptions to the following season
    2. Changing your purchase into a tax-deductible donation
    3. Granting full refunds (note: refunds must be requested prior to the concert date)
  • Digital concert option – Can’t make the concert for health-related reasons? Our November through January programs will be filmed and recorded. A professionally-produced presentation of the concert will be provided to you so that you may still enjoy the performance at home. (note: may take up to 2 weeks to deliver)
  • No Surprises – As many of us have experienced in the last year, venues, the CDC, and the government have been shifting their guidance and policies to better match current scientific understanding. All ticket holders will receive an email notification at least one week prior to the performance date with our updated safety policies and requirements for attending the concert. These also will be detailed in the ticket reminder email you will receive 48 hours prior to your specific concert.

For our artists:

  • All artists performing with Seraphic Fire this season are required to be fully vaccinated.
  • Artists will take a COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test taken within 72 hours prior to their travel to Florida.
  • Artists will take an additional COVID-19 rapid test upon arrival in South Florida.
  • Artists will remain masked for rehearsals until receipt of a negative test result arrives.
  • Artists will only be unmasked during rehearsals after confirmation of negative results and will continue to mask outside of rehearsal.
  • While traveling, artists are required to wear either a KN95 mask or double up with a surgical mask and cloth mask in all shared spaces, maintain social distancing, wash hands often, and limit time in areas where exposure could be possible.
  • Local artists will be required to follow all health and safety protocols.

For our staff:

  • All full and part-time staff are required to be vaccinated.
  • Staff will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test within 72 hours of the first concert in each program.
  • Staff will be required to wear a KN95 mask at all times while at the concert venue.
