SERAPHIC FIRE GRAMMY® NOMINATIONS THE PERFECT BIRTHDAY GIFT
MIAMI, FL – Just one hour before his 34th birthday, Patrick Dupré Quigley, Seraphic Fire’s founder and Artistic Director, received word that his ensemble was to receive two GRAMMY® nods.
“It’s hard to imagine a better birthday present” says Quigley. “I actually thought the nominations were going to be announced the next day. It was quite the surprise.”
In what is a rare occurrence, Seraphic Fire received two nominations for two differentrecordings. Additionally, Peter Rutenberg was nominated for his work as producer on the ensemble’s Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem, bringing the nomination count for Seraphic Fire’s albums to three.
