GRAMMY®-Nominated ensemble’s recording hits No. 10 on iTunes Classical Chart on First Day of Sales
MIAMI, FL – Seraphic Fire has continued its longstanding tradition of digital success with the ensemble’s latest album, Seraphic Fire, reaching No.10 on the iTunes Classical chart on the first day of its release. Released on the ensemble’s own Seraphic Fire Media label yesterday exclusively to digital formats, the album is distributed by Naxos of America.
Seraphic Fire contains many of the world premieres and signature works that defined the ensemble’s first decade. Included are world-premiere recordings of works by Ingram Marshall, Jake Runestad, Shawn Crouch and Alvaro Bermudez, as well as a new recording of Ariel Ramirez’s iconic Misa Criolla.
Speaking of the album’s runaway success, Patrick Dupré Quigley, the ensemble’s founder and artistic director, said, “We are overjoyed with the success of this recording. This project represents a labor of love for all involved, and we are so happy that the disc has been embraced by the greater Classical music community.”
